The farming community of Vunivutu, Nadogo in Macuata and nearby settlements had a chance to meet and discuss their problems with the Acting Prime Minister and Attorney-General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum over the weekend. Farmer, Mr. Avilash Prasad said he was happy that Mr Sayed-Khaiyum took time out to visit them and listen to their concerns. “I am very happy and grateful because he came down to us to listen to the issues that we have been facing for quite some time,” Mr Prasad said. The Acting Prime Minister also got to hear firsthand from the community the alleged allegations made by provisional NFP candidate. Mr. Sayed-Khaiyum reassured the community to always tell the truth and if you spoke the truth no one could do anything to you. Mr Sayed-Khaiyum also visited the Labasa Market.
