FIJIANS CAN ACCESS WALESI FOR FREE ON THEIR MOBILE DEVICES

 In Information Technology, News

Fijians around the country will now be able to watch live television on their mobile devices after the launch of the Walesi Mobile application.

The app, a first of its kind in the country, was launched (26/06/18) by FijiFirst General Sectretary Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.

This new app would ensure Fijians are able to watch live television from ANYWHERE for FREE.

FijiFirst Government always takes care of all Fijians and this app will allow us to have 100 percent coverage ensuring no Fijian is left behind.

Also signed was the agreement for the Savusavu-Suva Submarine Cable System to provide a significant boost to the connectivity speeds between Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.

One of the core objectives of this project is to provide secure and quality access to all licensed operators on an equitable basis, in terms of price and interconnection facilities, to foster retail competition in ICT and hence making the Internet more affordable to all Fijians.
