FijiFirst leader opens new Savusavu fire station

THE largest fire station in the country was opened by the FijiFirst Leader Voreqe Bainimarama in Savusavu, Cakaudrove.

With our Government’s support the $3.7 million project is one of several newly constructed fire stations in the Northern Division including one in Seaqaqa and another in Taveuni.

“My Government values the well-being and safety of the people of this nation irrespective where you live in Fiji and the National Fire Authority will continue to strive and provide easy access to essential services relating to fire response, road accident rescue, hazardous material rescue, flood and swift water rescue, natural disasters,” Our Leader, Bainimarama said.

He also opened the redeveloped Ratu Ganilau Park in Savusavu.

“Sports were an integral part of every town’s development and its promotion required innovative infrastructural development.”
