FijiFirst Leader opens new Vatukarasa nursing station

FijiFirst Leader Voreqe Bainimarama officiated at the opening of the new Vatukarasa nursing station in Tailevu today.

The new investment of half million will provide medical services to three villages namely Vatukarasa, Nameka and Natuva.

FijiFirst Leader Mr. Bainimarama highlighted government’s commitment towards expanding and improving healthcare around the country.

“In 2018-2019 budget government has allocated $382million to improving the health of Fijian people, both by funding new capital projects-hospitals and nursing stations like this one and by recruiting highly skilled medical personnel to staff them.”

“Fiji’s medical facility are quickly evolving allowing new and innovative treatmemts to be offered in our country for the first time.”

FijiFirst Leader Mr. Bainimarama urged the people of Vatukarasa to take ownership of their own health and to live a healthy lifestyle.
