The opening of Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) new Suva Express Office at the FNPF Plaza will add on to provide more efficient, customer-friendly and easily accessible services to the authority’s customers.

This was highlighted by the Minister for Employment, Productivity, Industrial Relations and Acting Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Hon. Jone Usamate at the opening of the new office in Suva today.

Minister Usamate said the new office is opened at a time when there is an increased demand for the LTA services as the public continues to invest in the transport sector, for which they require fast, efficient and easy access to LTA services.

“Suva-based customers will also now not have to travel far, instead they can access express LTA services at the new Suva Express Office.

On an average, the LTA Valelevu office serves more than 300 customers per day so LTA services in the heart of the city makes things so much easier for the public,” Minister Usamate said.

The Suva LTA Express Office will be operational from Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm and from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.

Payment of vehicle inspection fees, vehicle registration fees, drivers’ license renewal, payment of tax infringement notices, search records, booking for the Defensive Driving Course and payment of the motor vehicle levy can be done at the Suva Express Office.

The new LTA Suva Express Office is manned by seven officers.
