Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum today opened two new classrooms at Conua District School in Nadroga.

The two new classrooms is a result of the partnership with Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort whose guests have assisted the schools building.

In opening the new classroom block, Hon. Sayed-Khaiyum highlighted the need for partnerships in the education sector.

He also praised Outrigger Beach Resort on the many social responsibilities it has undertaken for the communities of Nadroga/Navosa.

The new classroom blocks is worth over $100, 000 and comes fully furnished with desks and chairs and other utilities.

The AG also participated in the groundbreaking of a new teachers quarters for the school that is the next project for Outrigger.

Previous to the classroom block and the teachers quarters, Outrigger also built a kindergarten for the children.

The AG also held a talanoa session with the community.
