“Getting tested is the best prevention” says Minister for Industry, Trade, Tourism, Lands and Mineral Resources, Hon. Faiyaz Siddiq Koya during the Prostate Cancer awareness drive in Suva today.

The campaign, organized by the Suva Golden Oldies Rugby Club together with the Fiji Motorcycle Association (FMA) and the Fiji Cancer Society aims to raise awareness on prostate cancer around Fiji and encourage men to get tested.

Minister Koya urged men to become more aware of Prostate Cancer as it was an important health issue usually neglected and encouraged them to get tested for early prevention.

“At the FMA, we are committed to helping you raise awareness on Prostate Cancer – anywhere in Fiji, we will be there,” he said.

“Get yourself tested, it does give you a massive peace of mind to find out one way or the other. Early detection is the best prevention.”
